When the Apple Watch Series 9 launched in September, the biggest change was Apple’s decision to ditch leather bands in favor of a new FineWoven material. But even though they’re eco-friendly, the reception to the new bands has been pretty unpleasant, with a new report claiming that Apple has abandoned the material altogether.

Apple describes the Leather Link as using Venezia leather handcrafted in Arzignano, Italy.
