It's difficult to get rid of bloatware. When one goes, another comes. Google Fit is currently preparing to leave the house through the back door and we might find ourselves another pre-installed Google app on our next Android mobile, that of Fitbit.
The latest OPPO research include it in your ROMs as a health and wellness app. OPPO has chosen to do this and I hope others will do the same.
Fitbit and Google Fit
Google bought Fitbit in 2019 even though the transaction was not finalized until two years later. It looked like Fitbit would be absorbed by Google, but even though Fitbit's online store became Google's, it appears the Fitbit brand will survive in software. In fact, even the application will be pre-installed in some of the upcoming releases.
While Google is gradually getting rid of Google FitWith APIs set to die for good next year, new Android phones remain “orphaned” by a pre-installed health app. This is where the Fitbit app comes in. We are already encountering it in some new products and in the coming months we will know if it has become an isolated case or if it is the norm. Google, for its part, comments that this is not obligatory:
The Fitbit app is available earlier this year for Android OEMs, as we continue to support the health and wellness of more consumers. Several device manufacturers have chosen to preload the app on their mobile devices.

Google's statement already tells us that several manufacturers have chose to include Fitbit among its pre-installed apps. The positive side of the matter is that in reality there will not be more applications, since the Fitbit application will occupy the position previously occupied by the Google Fit application. In other words, one goes out and the other enters.
