On May 16, 2019, the United States government added Huawei to the list of entities, blocking transactional transactions with companies in the country. Since then, the United States has extended a strong following in this transaction several times, but the baseline with regard to Google funding remained unchanged: calls introduced after the veto can't install Google services, as is the case with Huawei Mate 30 Pro.
Huawei has repeatedly stated its position in relation to this veto, though Google was quiet on this issue, so far. About a year later, the official representative of Android and Google Play clarified doubts about the current state of Huawei and Google
Google is breaking the silence
It was Tristan Ostrowski, legal director of Android and Google Play, responsible for clarifying the matter, according to a publication Google Support Forums under the heading "Resolving your doubts with Huawei devices and Google services".
Although much of the content of this publication was already described in what we have seen since the veto began, it is now that Google has first disclosed its position on the matter and arrived at the time they did not stop appearing new ways to install Google services on Huawei phones.
Let's start with what was already known. Google confirms that the devices released before May 16, 2019 keep receiving security updates and services from Google for as long as the authorities allow. US law only allows Google to interact with Huawei devices sold before May 16.
This is the same limit prevents Google from certifying new Huawei devices, so that new phones can install Google services or apps (unless they have been previously verified, such as Huawei Nova 5T). These warranties indicate that the mobile phone is secure enough to, among other things, protect the security of user information.
Google considers you most at risk if you install apps improperly, as applications may be modified
Given the rise of new ways to incorrectly install Google services on devices that don't bring it from the factory, Google advises users not to do so, as applications could not be changed compromising user safety. Google believes it is a "high risk."
Google's status is therefore simple. The equipment that was certified before May 16, 2019 will continue so far as the law allows, while it is still at rest you should not install Google services to your advantage. You can see a full list of certified devices here, in addition to looking at your mobile phone, in the Google Play Settings menu.
