It’s not April Fool’s Day, and neither is it a Google joke: the company created a curious 78-card Tarot that not only was physically delivered to some Pixel 6 users, it also uploaded it to its servers so that anyone can download it. And it’s worth doing: Each tarot card is unique, it is exquisitely designed and is inspired by the different features of the Google Pixel 6.
Now that we’re one breath away from wrapping up 2021 and next year he’s warming up in the squad with the intention of hitting the pitch in just over a week, it’s time to take stock and to put together that wish list that our near future will anticipate. While this may seem like a mere curiosity unrelated to the usual cards used by those who devote themselves to “divination,” the truth is that Google took care to transfer its own theme as part of the Tarot. In fact, the game is perfect for playing cards. Although yes, the credibility remains the same.
The Google tarot deck contains 72 cards that reflect different specific aspects of the Pixel 6; which in turn are linked to the original maps on which they are based. For example, the letter of the magician refers to the magic eraser, the tool for removing unwanted elements from photos; or lovers highlighting the possibilities of Google Duo.
Google released some real decks from their collection, an item you probably won’t be able to get (some #TeamPixel contributors have received it). What you can have is the presentation sheet from which to download all the tarot cards: you have it in this link. Our recommendation is that you save the file to your Drive, lest Google decide to delete it.
In addition to the original design with which the cards are finished, and that as a whole they serve as a “divination” tool, each of the maps can be captured in augmented reality to see how it moves on the phone screen.
