Google's largest developer conference this year will not be conducted in any way. If in the last few weeks the physical system of Google I / O 2020 now Visible event canceled that they would hurry on the same days.

As in Spain and other countries in the world, in the San Francisco Bay Area, a living aloneIn order to protect the health of all its employees, Google has decided to completely cancel I / O 2020 to avoid unnecessary trips. The event is not urgent in the current circumstances and can wait for it to take place the following year.
Due to concerns about the health and safety of our developers, employees and local communities, as well as the needs of the San Francisco Bay Area local government provision, unfortunately we will not be hosting I / O 2020 events in time this year.
Right now, the most important thing we can do is to focus more on helping people with the new challenges we all face. We will continue to do everything possible to help our communities be safe, informed and connected.

This does not mean that during May or the next few months we will not have news updates for Pixel 4a, Android, Google Assistant, Maps and co. Google will continue to announce its news through its blogs and forums as throughout the year. Only that there will be no video conferencing or special sessions.
If everything goes as planned and the situation improves, the next Google event will be after the summer, between September and November with the "Made by Google" launch event for the launch of the new Google Pixel 5 machines and company.
