Google Keep is an application that many users Using Android in Europe. It is an application that is improving, both for Android and its desktop version. The app has been updated again and leaves us with an important novelty related to reminders, to facilitate its use.
The reminder window in Google Keep is renewed in this new version of the Android app. The idea of this redesign is to make it easier to schedule a recall, as it will require fewer steps than was necessary until now.
Now it’s worth it: Google Keep improves its design for PC
Google Keep changes the design in its web version and now has a new side menu that is always visible to move between sections.
Google Keep improves reminders
This improvement is introduced in Google Keep version v5.20.511.03, which is starting to roll out to Android users. Until now when we wanted to create a reminder, the app asked us to select the day, time and / or location manually, which involved many steps. Tips are now entered, plus two locations: home and work.
When we want to create a reminder in the app, we will have to take fewer steps to be able to select the location in question, which is usually home or work. In addition, we are given suggestions with hours, so if any of these suggestions matches what we need, the process of creating a reminder becomes much shorter.
The process is faster, as long as we have our addresses registered with Google Keep. This is what will allow the application to directly create these home and work locations, which we can select directly when creating the reminder.
The update seems to be happening on the server side, so updating the app to its latest version doesn’t automatically mean you can use these new callbacks. Deployment has already started, so you shouldn’t have to wait long to take advantage of this feature.
