Many users are surprised when they open a Google News or Assistant: even if black mode is checked, the interface seems simple. And the fix has disappeared from the Google app, even for those with Android 10. Has this happened to you? You are not alone.
Black mode continues to be desirable for all of us who love the background black (or as black as possible). It makes night reading easier, saves less battery (always in imagination) and offers a different graphical style to converted apps. Google is one of the most emphasizing companies for black forums ever since a good portion of its apps feature a dark theme as usual
Google is removing the dark theme from the settings
Black mode was tested in the Google app until it was passed to all users a few months ago. That theme hides Discover (Google News), app settings, and some of the essentials of the app: Google Assistant (Android 10 only). Total adjustments can be made from the app settings, the fix has disappeared with a large number of users: it doesn't come from any of our mobiles.
The disappearance of the dark content of the Google app has been sudden and unless the app is updated: Google has removed the setting for its servers. It affects a large number of users no matter what kind of phone it is, and even the version: the Google-based support group is already collecting a number of complaints. We're breaking it down again: Android 9 and Android 10; and from brands ranging from Xiaomi to OPPO.
There is currently no way to restore black mode to the Google app: you have to wait for the company to return the repair
Despite the fact that in the Google support group they noted that the black core fix is restored by installing the latest beta program, this is not true: the company has removed the option from its servers and there is no way to replace it using new types. So it's only left for the dark theme to appear again: we don't know if it was intentional or just a mistake made by Google. We will update this article as we have more news.
