Google Podcast is being updated with a new category of recommended episodes

category, episodes, Google, Podcast, recommended, Updated

The podcast world has been expanding in recent years, leaving us with gaming applications like Pocket Cast or Tune In. Google doesn't want to live without it, and it has its own app for playing podcasts, with a prototype depending on the performance of some of the company's other apps, or somehow suffering from performance compared to its competitors.

That's why Google never stops updating its app, being a clear example of this today. Google Podcast is getting an update to add to its connection a new tab with personalized recommendations. One of the key points is that it is not based on our previous fertility to recommend other podcasts, but tries to move forward one step further.

Google will recommend specific episodes

Google Podcast, as we read on 9to5Google, is updated with this new category of recommendation. It's done as a new tab within the interface, so we'll just have to go to it to start seeing these recommendations.

Google will recommend certain podcast episodes, far less than the standard recommendations

The point of this section's difference is that Google will not recommend new podcasts to receive, which would be highly anticipated. In contrast, they recommend specific chapters, which, at least in theory, should relate to our interests. This is proof of how far Google wants to go far with the topic of recommendations (in addition to a sample of what we know about us), because you might think we don't care about a particular podcast, but yes one of his episodes.

Renewal is possible server sidethat is by Google servers. A quick translation of this is that we can't force this connection by updating the APK manually, but we'll have to wait for Google to send us an update.
