With the launch of mass vaccination in the United Kingdom, and in view of the next campaigns in the rest of the countries, Google added information on vaccines available in coronavirus research. Now, and from the UK, Google will show which vaccines are given nearby along with scientific information on each vaccine.
We are weeks away from the end of the year and we all know what will be the news that will appear in the relevant summaries: the Covid-19 pandemic. Lockdowns, social restrictions, business closures and what’s to come: vaccination. In this last point, and since there are several vaccines that will be distributed among countries, the new Google is very useful: the search engine adds data on vaccines available nearby.
Don’t know which vaccines are given near you? Google tells you
Google’s idea is to supplement the wide range of verified information it offers in all research conducted around the pandemic. Since I already had contagion data, advice to prevent it and reliable information, the inclusion of available vaccines will help those who wish to protect themselves against Covid-19.
As the UK was the first country to launch a massive Covid-19 vaccination campaign, this is also where Google began its strengthening disease content with immunization data. Anyone doing related research who is in an area where vaccines are administered will have data with vaccines administered nearby as well as information about the vaccines themselves.
In the form of a map, and located in the first position of the search engine, Google will include all the details of the vaccines nearby so that the user is well informed of the progress of his localization.
As we said, Google has included UK vaccine data, although it is expanding the information while other countries launch their campaigns.
