Smartwatches have earned a place on our wrists, adding endless possibilities to a gadget we would primarily use to tell the time. Google had a lot to say on the ground portable, and for this reason it maintains its own operating system based on Android, Wear OS, which will soon have new functions and has launched weather and telephone applications. The store recommends games for the watch
As the Android specialist media comments, the Google Play Store has opened a new section within the “Other devices” category (which refers us to applications compatible with watches and televisions). Now we see Game recommendations compatible with Wear OS in these sections called “Relax with games on your watch” and “Play anywhere”.
As we can see from the screenshots, these two sections are maintained to recommend games to smartwatch users. There’s a third one, but this one brings together essential applications, titles not readable. The game suggestions focus on relaxing works that help us relieve stress, as well as more difficult ones such as puzzles or role-playing games.

These changes that have reached the Play Store are visible only from an Android mobile, so they don’t appear on the desktop version of the App Store. It seems that little by little Google is getting more serious with Wear OS, and it’s that the Mountain View company has made it easier for developers to keep their smartwatch apps separate from their mobile apps.
Recently, Google released the April security patch for its Pixel Watch, a very successful smartwatch that arrived in Europe from Vodafone. At the expense of a future Pixel Watch 2 sold directly by Google, this is the only way to acquire one in our country, although we can always transform our Wear OS, or opt for models from other manufacturers like a Galaxy Watch 4 that received a key update a few months ago.
There is no doubt that this smart watch was the boost the American firm needed to undertake moves that improve the operating system, like this one that helps us find games. Soon we will see if Wear OS is still in the spotlight, receiving new changes, or on the contrary, if it is relegated to the background.
