As expected, Apple has released its latest revenue results for what they call the third quarter of 2024, which includes the months of April, May, and June. A period in which they had some turnover of 85.777 million dollarsassuming that this is a notable increase of almost 5% year-on-year compared to what was achieved during the same period of 2023.
Revenues in the services sector once again represent a new record for the company, as has already happened in previous years. However, it also highlights that Incomes are increasing in almost all regions and territoriesexcept two which go together.
After a full year without iPad, it is now the fastest growing sector
In 2023, something unprecedented happened at Apple. And since the launch of the first iPad in 2010, a calendar year has never passed without the launch of a single new model. Finally, in recent months, they launched the iPad Air M2 and iPad Pro M4, which served as the impetus for increase profits in this area by 19%
It is also relevant to see how Macs have grown by just over 2% despite the launch of new models this year, surely thanks to the M3 computers seen at the end of the year. However, it is relevant to stop and note that Services continue their upward trend and bring more and more revenue to Appleup 12.39% year-on-year and setting a new record with $24.213 million.

The negative rating is given to the area that includes devices such as the Apple Watch, AirPods and HomePod, as well as accessories such as cases. These fell by 2.31%, although this seems to be a common trend in these quarters. The same thing happens with the iPhones down nearly 1%. By standard, this is a quarter in which fewer iPhones are sold and having lost the great advantage of China has affected them, although it is not a resounding drop either and they continue to be the kings of all areas, contributing 39.296 million. dollars of revenue.
No surprises with Apple’s fall in China
It is not surprising to say that Apple has problems in China and that they come largely from the reduction in iPhone sales and the way manufacturers such as Huawei, Vivo or OPPO surpass them in terms of sales. In any case, we already know that they are trying to compensate for this with the contribution of India.

The big surprise in the distribution of income by territory is led by Europe with an increase of 7.67% and a turnover of 21.884 million dollarswhich serve to make the old continent the second most important territory for Apple. Of course, as far as annual growth is concerned, it is the other Asian countries that are experiencing the strongest growth, almost 12%, estimating that a good part of this comes from the good pace that India is experiencing.
“We were excited to announce some incredible updates”
Apple CEO Tim Cook said he was pleased with these quarterly results. He wanted to highlight everything that was announced at WWDC 2024, a developer event held in early June that served to present iOS 18, macOS 15 Sequoia and the rest of the new software versions for the company’s devices.
Although there is one element that Cook particularly emphasized, it is the new contribution in artificial intelligence that the company will bring with Apple Intelligence, also presented at this event and which is already in beta for developers. Regarding this set of models, Cook also announced the good news that it will reach more languages before the end of the year, in addition to confirming that all new iPhones will be compatible.
