One of the most important video game sagas in history was soon to receive a new treatment. After a long wait, the players would soon have Grand Theft Auto game trilogy remaster for PlayStation 2. And luckily for us, it would be available for iPad and iPhone.
Currently they are already available Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City and San Andreas for mobile devices. However, these versions are not remasters, but emulators of the original versions. According to Kotaku, Rockstar Games would be working on new versions of these games with graphical improvements.
The post indicates that sources close to the developer claim that these remasters are already in the final stages of their development. To get, use the Unreal Engine graphics engine. The objective would be an appearance that combines both the style of the original versions, as well as the most modern techniques.
As for the release schedule, there isn’t a lot of information on that. Rockstar seems to be delaying the release of these remastered versions. Currently, they should be ready in October or November. However, the launch would be given first on consoles, PC and mobile versions will come later
Regarding the prices, it seems that we would have a pack that would include all three remastered versions. However, it is not known whether it will be sold at a similar or higher price than the versions already available. In any case, we will have to wait a little longer to find out about Rockstar’s official plans for this launch.
Of course, we have to wait a few months or until 2022, the good news is that new versions would be on the way. It is now possible to enjoy the original versions, but to be able to replay them with all the improvements developed over the years, it will be a great opportunity for those who have known them on PS2.
