Gurman has gone ahead with its weekly newsletter: it normally publishes it on Sundays, but this time we’re releasing it a day earlier. The reason is probably the urgency of the clues it provides: It seems that the news will arrive “in a few days”.
Gurman mentions the new iPad Pro M2 as part of this news, though it also opens up possibilities for more surprises over the coming weeks and months. Let’s be clear as there are even new products that would seek to create a new segment in the business.
The landing of the M2 chip everywhere and… an iPad with Dock?
In the words of Gurman, what would come before is the iPad Pro with M2 chip
With this iPad Pro, we might as well see the arrival of a new standard iPad, the tenth generation already, which would adopt a design in line with the rest of the range and the USB-C port. It would be one of the biggest overhauls in many years, and it could mean the disappearance of the Home button.
It is quite clear to us that the expansion of the M2 chip to more devices is in progress.
The source also mentions new Macs for later: the Mac mini M2, the MacBook Pro with the M2 pro chip and M2 Max, and a new Apple TV 4K with the A14 Bionic chip and 4GB of RAM. He’s not commenting on big-screen iMacs, a Mac Studio update, or a Mac Pro, but it’s clear the m2 chip will expand to many more devices in the coming months.
What is said as icing on the cake is a new product: an iPad designed to be always at home, with built-in speaker and home automation functions to place “in the kitchen, on a dining room cabinet or on a bedside table”. Something like what Google would also be preparing with its Pixel Tablet.
It would be a device that would act as a landline to obtain information, have video conferences or perform other functions. Apple could also sell an accessory that connects to the iPad to turn it into something very similar, and apparently we could see that in 2023.
Have fun next week 😉

LeaksApplePro leaker adds a bit more infatuation and just wants us to have fun next week, hinting that what Gurman considers “a matter of days” could be directly less than seven days. If this is true, we should have already received official confirmation of an event, which corresponds to releases without opening speech which Gurman believes will happen.
In short, it paints that before the end of this month we will have new Apple products presented. It may be minor news or internal updates, but it will be news after all. We will be attentive to any other clue that may come to us.
