Samsung released its first Fan Edition device in 2017. It was the Samsung Galaxy Note FE and it came right after the battery soap opera that caught fire in the Note 7. It took Samsung three years to take over that line and in 2020 they announced the Galaxy S20 FE. Later in 2021 with the Galaxy Tab S7 FE.
Everything indicates that the FE or Fan Edition series is going to have a new member very soon. For weeks, we have been witnessing a trickle of leaks from the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, the new member of Samsung’s high-end range which, according to rumors, will have a technical sheet a little shorter than its brothers. The Galaxy S21 FE is back to make an appearance, this time passing the certificate in TEENA, its official announcement therefore seems imminent.
Here’s how Samsung makes money: the secret is on the IPHONE
It will be the last member of the S21 range
As we said, there have been several leaks of the Galaxy S21 FE in the past, including renderings that showed its supposed design. Now the certificate in TENAA leaves some technical details about the future member of the S21 family, such as for example that he will have a 6.4 inch screen, slightly smaller than the S20 FE (6.5 inches). As it could not be otherwise in the high end of the manufacturer, the screen will feature Super AMOLED technology and will also have a refresh rate of 120Hz, like the rest of the models.
6.4-inch Super AMOLED display and 120Hz refresh rate for the “Fan Edition”.
The certificate also includes details of the total size of the device, which will be 155.7 x 74.5 x 7.9 millimeters. There is no information on the weight, but to give you an idea it would be halfway between the S21 + and the S21. Regarding the battery, the document details a capacity of 4370 mAh, but as warned in GSMArena, it is quite possible that it refers to the minimum capacity and we are facing a battery of 4500 mAh.
Previous leaks suggested that the S21 FE will feature the Snapdragon 888 chip and arrive in 6/128 and 8/256 GB versions. There has also been talk of a triple rear camera with angle and telephoto, as well as a 32-megapixel front camera.
The next big Samsung event could take place on August 11, where we hope to see the brand’s new folding machines as well as other products. Will the Galaxy S21 FE be part of it? We will have to wait to confirm it, but everything indicates that it will not take long to get out of the doubt.
