One of the greatest virtues of One UI is its customizability. Each user can configure their personalized experience, changing it from time to time, even if they are tired of having everything the same. Samsung’s custom layer, based on Android, already offers many such options, but it’s all taken to the next level with a free application from the South Korean firm itself: Good lock.
Thanks to this, we can modify many more elements than One UI allows from the start. One of the things I didn’t know could be changed was multitasking.
Changing the multitasking interface with Good Lock is very simple
As we said above, thanks to Good Lock we have many tools in our hands to modify almost every aspect of our phone. Samsung Galaxy generally have it installed as standard, although we can also download it totally free via the Galaxy Store.
With this already installed we can see how inside we divided everything into two parts. The first of them, called “Make up”, is the one that mainly focuses on aesthetic changes. The other, called “Life up”, has a series of modules that add functions or functionality in various facets of One UI, such as sound, notifications or even when taking screenshots.
Good Lock has significantly improved its experience in recent years. One of its main changes is that now we no longer need to independently search for its modules, but they are all in the application itself. With him open, This is what we need to do to change the multitasking animation
- In the ‘Make up’ tab we search for the ‘Home Up’ module and download it.
- Once downloaded, we will have to grant it the permissions it requests (in this case, on storage).
- Once inside the ‘Home Up’ module we activate it and go to ‘Task changer‘.
- Here we just have to activate the option and select the mode that we like the most.
Note that any change in the multitasking interface It is completely reversible and we can switch to another one whenever we want (or even to the default one).
