At this event in March and last year, Apple adds a new “seasonal” color to generation models. Last year it was the case of the iPhone 12 mini and the iPhone 12 which came exclusively in a new color, as we showed you in the gallery of images that we offered you from the purple iPhone 12 mini. Undoubtedly, a kind of “special issue” for those who still think about it, almost halfway between the September presentation of the previous year, and almost that of the current year.

This year the company has been no less and extended a new special color, but to the whole range

Son slightly different tones between the two family ranges, as you’ll see in the slightly darker images of the iPhone 13 case – also counting that these models have a light-reflecting finish on the back. In the case of its big brothers, the iPhone 13 Pro, the aspect being more matte dilutes the alpine green color a bit and softens it in sight – giving a certain more elegant touch. The edges with this new color continue the back color very well, reinforcing the feeling of the body in a single color, maybe in the Pro this contrast marks the corners a little more but it is still spectacular.

Apple and the use of color in design
In the latest products we see how Apple gives more importance to colors giving it an additional design element that gives it more personality and enhances the appearance: this is important especially in models like the iPad Air (2022), which looks the same as the previous year but with a blue finish that highlights the generation. As I mentioned in the article, it looks great on the desktop now that we can use it with Universal Control alongside our Mac.

The new color that has just been launched in the current generation inherits a lot from the presence of these iPhone 11s that we discovered in September 2019, which incorporated the color midnight green for the first time thanks to the collaboration with the Seiko Advance company. It was undoubtedly one of the most beautiful colors of recent years (In my opinion) and this tonality – are its nuances – It looks great on the iPhone 13as you can see in the pictures.
