Since its launch EMUI 10, Huawei has done a good job of updating devices that make its catalog in the new version with good speed. In fact, today there are only a few places left to update to the new version.
However not all Honor and Huawei devices are compatible with a new version of the software developed by the company. For some time now they knew that Huawei would have left out of its plans some of the most recent, but so far we haven't official list of devices you will not receive EMUI 10.
Honor and Huawei phones that weren't getting Android 10
The list in question has been prepared by the people of Huawei Central, based on the original plans announced by the company, as well as statements presented by both Honor and Huawei a few weeks ago. Composed by eight different devices, and the following:
- Respect Play
- Respect 9
- Honor the 9 Lite
- Honor 8X Max
- Huawei Y9 2019
- Huawei Nova 3
- Huawei Nova 3i
- Huawei P20 Lite
The Honor Play case and the Honor 8X Max are attracting attention, two devices apparently not powerful enough to use the latest version of Android, but because of the "hardware restrictions" that apply to the Honor 9 and Honor 9 Lite, not compatible with this new version.
The same is true for other institutions, Huawei Nova 3, 3i and P20 Lite, all introduced in 2018, one year before the arrival of Android 10 and EMUI 10.
In spite of everything, Huawei says it will continue to update some of these devices safety and performance improvement. However, I'm afraid that those who want to enjoy EMUI 10 will have to connect to the latest company forum.
