In the middle of a day of presentations of Honor smartphones, the Chinese firm has also given way to software. And it is that they have already officially presented Magic OS 7, its new layer of customization based on the latest stable version of Android, that is Android 13.
MagicOS 7.0 comes with many new features including personalized user experience and collaboration between signature devices. This new version of Honor’s personalization layer will run on Android 13, the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system.
New in MagicOS 7.0: better connectivity, AI performance and three layers of protection
Among the many novelties brought by MagicOS 7.0, those related to device control and ease of use stand out. The new features added in the latest version of the Honor Personalization Layer are:
- Intelligent connectivity thanks to MagicRing, which will allow us to share services between different computers and devices. With very low power consumption, we have interconnection with other devices from our mobile, for example, we can use the keyboard and mouse to manage different devices, not just the one to which they are connected. Smart help with Magic Live Engine, an engine that will offer us recommendations based on our tastes and needs depending on the scenario in which we find ourselves. With this, we will be able to complete our tasks earlier and more efficiently.

Text recognition in images with the Magic Text function. This utility will recognize the text of an image that we are viewing to later convert it into a file, something similar to what we can do with Lens. An example of this would be analyzing text on a whiteboard or poster and converting it to PDF. A breakthrough for productivity.
