How to configure Optic ID on Apple Vision Pro

Configuring the Optical ID is a very intuitive and quick process.
- Join a Settings in visionOS.
- Go to Optical ID and password.
- Choose Configure Optical ID.
- Follow the steps on your Apple Vision Pro.
- If you did not have a password, you will need to create one.
Additionally, Apple also shared a series of videos on its Tech Support YouTube channel with a tour of some elements of visionOS, such as the Control Center.
Optic ID accepts a maximum of 5 failed attempts when unlocking Apple’s mixed reality glasses. If this happens, the system will ask you for the password. Apple Vision Pro users can choose to delete all their information after 10 consecutive password failures.
