A few weeks ago, a Google developer by the name of Chris Koch posted something What ended up going viral: His Apple TV was asking him to agree to iCloud’s new terms and conditions (which you should normally do from time to time), but asking him to do so using another Apple device. And Chris had no other Apple devices..
Of course, we are entering a loop. How can you accept these conditions if you do not have the means to accept them? And if you don’t accept them, you can’t continue to use Apple TV services. Faced with the situation, Apple responded with a way to achieve this.
No iPhone? No problem
I own an Apple TV.
I don’t own a single other Apple device. Not one.
Every time I start the Apple TV I get this prompt now. @Apple what do you want me to do about it? pic.twitter.com/CsNaTNNIHp

If at any time you find yourself in the same situation, this support document tells you how to fix it. Just go to iCloud official website and sign in. Apple will automatically detect that you must accept the new terms and conditionsand it will ask you to do it from that same website.
This is not a step you need to do now, if you didn’t find the request, you don’t have to do anything. This will only happen to you when Apple’s terms and conditions change, and more often than not, if you have an Apple TV, you also have an iPhone to do this quickly.
Given this, I assume the text “requires a device with iOS 16 or iPadOS 16” will be removed in future tvOS updates to avoid this type of situation. Just access the iCloud website from any device and/or operating system.
