Biometric unlocking methods are the most comfortable for locking and unlocking your mobile, and they have been present in Xiaomi for some time in the form of fingerprint reading. Configure facial recognition on your Xiaomi

- Click Passwords and Security.
- Tap Face Recognition.
Whichever method you choose to unlock your smartphone, you will need to define a PIN code to be able to unlock the mobile alternatively, because biometrics is never the only method available for unlocks.
Before you start putting it on, it’s a good idea to make sure you add all the parts of your face so that it’s clearly visible, with nothing covering or getting in the way. In many cases, depending on your mobile, will warn you that it is less secure than a PIN code because you can use an image to unlock it.
If you’re looking for comfort, this is a good option, but it’s not in the realm of safety, so you should think about what you prioritize. Of course, the most recommended option is the fingerprint reader.
