Each mobile generation has a well-established design line and 2020 is no difference. When we look directly at OnePlus 8 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 10, OPPO Find X2 Pro or Huawei P40 Pro, they all have some similarities that exist in the upper left corner of the camera but also have a curved screen on the larger sides.
These types of screens were made fashionable by Samsung a few generations ago with their Edge edges. The first was a note, but most of all popular on the Galaxy S.
However, in 2020 the Korean company decided to return to its origin and fired this kind of screen on the Galaxy S20, at the same time many competitors welcomed it.
But not everyone used them the same way. One of the biggest problems with this type of screen is that when we hold the cellphone in one hand, we may be doing a random pull in the spot where it turns. This causes certain connection features to start working at other times, such as when we are in bed using our cell phone at night.
To be honest, with most of the models I've tried this hasn't been a problem at all, but there has been some concern with the Xiaomi Mi 10. Fortunately, it seems that the company is aware of this and introduced Optimize app recognition to solve this problem.
How to adjust the phantom touch on the Xiaomi Mi 10 screen
If the daily use of your Xiaomi Mi 10 or Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro is accidentally installed by these machines, you can change the sensitivity of that location to settings. In this case you must:
- Open the Settings app.
- Go to the Additional Settings section.
- Ignore extra touches on the edges.
- Customize.
There, we can choose the dimensions of the area that are not sensitive to touch. Be careful, because this has an antagonist. If we use touch to control the MIUI interface, instead of using virtual keys, they can respond better.
We advise you to adjust the area so that it doesn't become a problem and in case the touch doesn't work as you would like, activate the physical buttons.
