If you are familiar chat on WhatsApp in several languages, you have the desire to be able to modify the keyboard language to access all the characters without collision. This is a language they share in the Latin alphabet, because in some languages you cannot write it directly unless you change the language.
If you want change the language of the WhatsApp keyboard on Android phone, the process is done not from mobile settings (where you can change the language of apps, including WhatsApp), but in keyboard app settings. We'll see how it's done on the best Android keyboards, even though in some processes it should be the same.
If you use GBoard
If you don't know which app for your physical keyboard, you probably have Gboard, the name that Google Keyboard brings. Do you Keyboard app pre-installed on most Android phones, or there are brands that prefer their keyboard, such as Samsung, or install SwiftKey.
To change the keyboard language, you must start add other languages. There are several ways to do it, but one of the simplest is to long-press the global icon until the window opens Switch keyboard. Then press Language settings.
You will then be shown the projects and languages you have currently edited on Google Keyboard. If you want to add more, press Add keyboard. You will then see a list of all supported languages, some of which have an arrow indicating that this language is included with different variants.
After selecting a language you will see a screen with options on that keyboard, and different designs. This may seem confusing, but different key formats may like it or not. For example, classic prediction mode or QWERTY keyboard. Select which projects you want to use – usually the default option is enough – and then press That's right.
This is done, you already have the language added to the keyboard, and as a result you can already use it on WhatsApp. You can use the same long press menu to change the keyboard language from the menu, however easy it is to do a standard machine. Through it they will differ between the different languages available.
If you use SwiftKey
If you use SwiftKey, the process is a bit different. Similarly, first you will need to add other languages. To do this you need to install SwiftKey settings. To do this, press the three dots button in the top bar (if you do not have that bar, press the button next to the predictive text to display it). Then press Settings.
In the settings menu, press Languages to get a list of all SwiftKey supported languages. In this case the process is smaller, because you only need one play in the language you want to add and SwiftKey will download and add, without you having to do anything. Go back and start using your keyboard.
Already in several languages, SwiftKey will allow you to toggle between installed languages sliding your finger around the area. As you do so, the languages in it are displayed according to which direction you are stretching.
Note that SwiftKey uses the same keyboard for languages that share the same alphabet (such as Spanish and English), so you can't change the language in those cases. This is because SwiftKey can use the same keyboard prediction in five different languages.
