You already know what will happen next July 23: in less than a month we will again have an election day in USA to elect the new Congress of Deputies. It was a general election that was brought forward, and that may have upset another vacation plan.
It is for this reason that many want find out if you had to go to one of the polling stations which are already awarded in some Spanish cities. If you live in one of these cities, you can perform the query even from your iPhone. Let’s see what this query depends on and how to do it.
Secure postal mail, optional online consultation
The drawing of lots that chooses the people who will have to present themselves at one of these polling stations is the power of the town halls of each municipality, so that there is no centralized site at the state level in which to make the request. Each town hall will send a letter to the chosen people to warn them, but the publication of this information on the web is optional.
Nevertheless, some cities have published a complete list of all citizens who had to go to a polling station to facilitate this consultation. These are the ones we break down below in alphabetical order:
Some of these web pages may ask for your ID or other information to be able to access the consultation, but there is nothing you cannot do from your iPhone.
Remember that if you want to know where you had to go to vote, you can check it on the INE website. And here you are going to need the digital certificate or the Cl@ve system installed on the iPhone. As a citizen of Terrassa, I can already be happy not to have to spend election day at a polling station thanks to its public list, something is something!
