If you want to create a playlist where a user’s favorite music and that of their contacts are shared, Spotify now has a feature that will come in handy this summer. In this way, common lists can be created in Europe between several users who can be use to liven up parties or get-togethersand more if possible in these dates which are approaching whether they meet with family or friends.
This new feature is called “merge playlists” and mixes a playlist from a user with favorite themes added by your friends or relatives. Something ideal when you’re spending a few days with friends and can’t agree on what music is going to be played. Spotify in this sense has managed to generate all kinds of experiences so that its streaming platform is one of the favorites of many.
Obviously, all friends who want to add they must have their own Spotify account so the smart list can pull your songs from each of your accounts. In other words, once this list is generated, they can join from their mobile app or computer once confirmation is received from the user who created the playlist.
As mentioned earlier, in these playlists it will not be the user who will add the songs, although these will be based on your tastes and those of everyone on the list. It can be activated in this way with these simple steps and thus have this playlist ringing on Bluetooth speakers this summer:
- The Spotify app opens.
- Click the button with the plus symbol located in the library section.
- Click Create Merge List.
- It is given to invite friends and invites all friends who want to participate.
Once these steps have been completed, the participants will have to accept the invitation from your email, and once they do, songs from their history or favorites list will be added. You can invite a maximum of 10 friends to this list, and if there are free spaces, each of the friends you invite can invite more people to the list up to the mentioned limit.
Since then, this is a very smart solution from spotify for all those situations in which you are in a meeting or at a party with friends and want to “rotate” a playlist to liven up moments that all will remember. Another of those experiences with which the value of this music platform is increased and thus prevents others, such as the same from Apple, from approaching it in number of users.
