There are already projects that seek to take advantage of this potential, and the most interesting that we have seen so far is that of Ghostwriter, an extension for Microsoft Word that allows access to ChatGPT so that it writes the documents for us.
This is exactly what we have always dreamed of: that at the push of a button, the documents we had pending are completed by themselves. It’s not magic, and it’s not perfect, but it’s something that until not too long ago was just a fantasy.
Ghostwriter was developed independently and has nothing to do with Microsoft or OpenAI; It’s just an extension that will allow us to access ChatGPT in Word, with a text box in which we must put what we want it to write to us, and some options on the machine learning model that it will use and the length . In fact, it’s not much different from using ChatGPT alone, but it’s more direct and it’s integrated into Word, so the results will appear directly in the document we have open.
