How to hide and show purchases in the App Store from our iPhone, iPad or Mac

The App Store is where we go, both on our iPhone and on our iPad or Mac, to buy and download apps. Over time and use, the number of apps purchased increases, but not all of them have given us the desired results. At some point we may want to hide some apps from our purchase history.

A file that is better to keep in order

Apps that haven’t performed as they should, old ones, or just apps we won’t want to use anymore are taking up unnecessary space on the App Store shopping list. A list in which it is interesting to keep order for be able to quickly access our purchases when you need it.

Fortunately, we can hide the purchases we consider. We can also do this from our iPhone, iPad and Mac. In the case of the first two, the steps to follow are as follows:

1. We open the app App store on our iPhone or iPad.
2. We touch our photo at the top right.
3. We played on Purchased.
4. If we are asked, we touch My classes.
5. We keep pressed on the application we want to hide.
6. We choose To hide.

It’s easy. On Mac, the process is very similar, the steps to follow are as follows:

1. We open the app App store on our Mac.
2. We touch our photo at the bottom left.
3. We hover the mouse over the application we want to hide and click on the button in the form of three dots that appears.
4. We choose Hide purchase.

And that’s all. With this system, we can hide purchases that we no longer need and keep order on this important list. Just like we just hid a purchase, however, maybe at some point we want to display it. Of course, this is not usual, but it could be, for example, that we have hidden an application unintentionally.

Whatever the reason for wanting re-display a purchase we can do it very easily. From our iPhone or iPad, the process is as follows:

1. We open the app App store on our iPhone or iPad.
2. We touch our photo at the top right.
3. We touch our name upstairs.
4. If necessary, we identify ourselves by password, Touch ID or Face ID.
5. We played on Hidden purchases.
6. We touch Spectacle next to the app we want to review.

On Mac, again, the process is similar the one we just saw. Precisely, the steps to follow are as follows:

1. We open the app App store on our Mac.
2. We played on View information.
3. If necessary, we identify ourselves by password or Touch ID.
4. In Hidden items, near Hidden purchases We touch Manage.
5. We touch Spectacle next to the app we want to review.

Easy no? With these simple steps, we can show and hide the purchases from our transaction history. Something very useful for keeping a list tidy which over time can grow to be several miles long. The apps that we know we won’t want to use again, we can hide them, if we change our mind later we’ll show them again and that’s it.
