Although hiding a number on our phones is usually related to certain movements, the truth is very useful functionality at times. For example, when we go to speak to customer services we think they may keep our phone from bothering us in the future, or when we talk to strangers we don't want them to call us back.
To activate this method is very easy, and although not long ago we learned to dial the code in our smartphone app, Android stopped it within the selection of its app. We show how to easily hide your phone number, and finally we use normal code if your phone doesn't have this option.
How to hide your phone number on Android
As we mentioned, Android has long been hiding our number when making calls as a general function of the system. Some manufacturers may have slightly varied the location of the changes in their different layers, however usually everything is in one place and it is very easy to access this function.
Hiding a number on Android will just have to open the call app our phone, which has the phone as an icon, and follow the instructions below.
- We open it options In the call app, it's usually done with three dots directly to the screen, or by adding a separate panel of manufacturers that have enabled it.
- We choose Settings to open the app settings.
- In the settings we look for the option "More settings "or" other settings ", although these terms may differ slightly depending on the manufacturer. In Xiaomi, for example, it's called "Advanced Settings".
- We get the driver ID option that often responds to the word "Show my ID or something similar.
- Clicking this last option will show us several options: Automatic network (if the operator sets its own terms), Hide number and display number.
- We choose "Hide number" And voila, our next call will identify us as an Anonymous Number.
- To deactivate the process, simply enter the same menu and select "Indicate Number".
Hide your number using alphanumeric code
If we want to activate the hiding of our number on one phone, or the calling app of our smartphone doesn't allow us to configure this option, we can go to the codes during the call. Doing so is very easy and they work next.
Just open the calling app and type the following:

This code is made with # 31 defined by Spain (will vary by country) and aparcel number 123456789 which we must call. Just change this number for true and correct, our call to that number will be made with our hidden phone number. All other calls will have our number completely visible.
