You need to set Windows as an AirPlay compatible device
To achieve this, you need to download this app called Air Screen Mirroring. You can also search for it in the Microsoft Store in the corresponding search bar at the top of the screen.
Once the application is installed, the AirPlay set name will be the name of your Windows PC. If you want to change it, you can do it directly on the pencil icon in the Air Screen Mirroring app. Keep your connection secure by avoiding clicking on links or browser extensions if asked. To start connecting with your iPhone, At the top of the application window, you should read the following caption: “The receiver was successfully started on (team name)”
Mirror your iPhone or iPad with AirPlay
If the Air Screen Mirroring app is working properly, you will now be able to connect to your Windows PC.
- Open the Control Center of your iPhone or iPad
- Press the button mirror screen (icon with two rectangles)
- NOW Devices that can mirror the screen will appearone of them should be the name assigned to your Windows PC
- Click on the Windows device name
- You will now be able to see your device on the screen
