Application Calendar It allows us to store various calendars in our iCloud account, and also allows us to use other calendar servers, such as Google or Exchange servers. With so many options we can distribute events between accounts and calendars for better organization.
How to move events between different calendars
With this system we can move events between different calendars. Doing the first event will disappear from the source calendar.
On our Mac
The steps are very simple:
- We double-click on the event we want to submit.
- We click on a small drop in the color from the upper right, next to the name.
- We select the calendar we want to move the event to.
Otherwise we can Drag and drop event to another calendar. Before we can do it we need to have a list of calendars visible, so we'll click Show calendar list menu See you. If it doesn't, it's because we already see it. The steps below are very simple:
- We are dragging an event to the top of the calendar (visible in the left sidebar) that we want to move.
On our iPad or iPhone
The steps are very similar, maybe very simple:
- We touch on the event we want to submit to see its details.
- We touch Calendar (current calendar).
- We select the calendar we want to move the event to.
How to copy events between different calendars
With this system we will have two events, one on the origin calendar and the other on the destination calendar. Also we can copy events to the same calendar to double it.
On our Mac
- We choose the event we want to emulate.
- We press Command (⌘) + C
- In the sidebar we click on the calendar we want to copy to the event.
- We click on the date we want to attach.
- We press Command (⌘) + V
If we want to attach an event to a specific time and that is unique to the event we copied, we can use daily or weekly views, and then second (right) click the time we want to paste it and select Paste it here.
On our iPad
In the case of the iPad, copying the event as simple as writing the same word when creating a new event. If necessary we can copy from an existing event:
- We choose the event we want to emulate.
- We touch Edit.
- We pick a word with two or three touchpoints.
- We choose Copy in the context menu.
- We're pressing Cancel and we return to the calendar view.
Once we've copied, or we'll just write:
- We're tapping + to add a new calendar.
- In the section Subject we touch and choose Paste or we write it.
- In this list we select the event we just copied and we'll see that all the details will automatically appear completed.
- We touch Calendar (current calendar).
- We choose a calendar where we want to place an event.
And it's easy, whether there is an office exchange calendar backup in our iCloud account or scanning calendar events Personal to WorkWe can do it easily on all our devices.
