Twitter is down and third-party cus tomers are suffering
Headache for Elon Musk. Your social network lost the most basic functionality, that of posting messages, suddenly and coinciding with the Nintendo Direct celebration.

When users try to post a tweet, they are greeted with the message “You have reached the daily limit for sending Tweets.“ This, despite the fact that in theory users do not have this type of limitation.
Twitter not working
This error may be related to the new Twitter API limitation. Starting tomorrow February 9, apps and bots will no longer be able to freely post tweets as before; the company announced that it was going to demand payment. According to Musk, this is done to prevent the spread of malicious bots, although in practice it’s the most useful bots and apps that suffer.
Error message on Twitter
It might be a coincidence, but that’s probably why I’m getting the error message “You have reached the daily limit for sending Tweets.” The new API will have a similar limit for all apps, and the official page may also have been affected by a bug.
How to post tweets
Luckily, there’s a trick to keep tweeting going: use scheduling. First, click the “Tweet” button and click the schedule button at the bottom of the pop-up window.
The Twitter timeline button is currently the only way to avoid the error
We just need to schedule the post in a minute from now. This is enough to circumvent the limitation we have.
For now, Twitter has not confirmed if this is an error, or if it is a consequence of more changes in the social network.
