Application Health on our iPhone collects all the health information we have. And when we say it all, we mean the one collected by our Apple Watch, the one collected by our sleep tracking system (such as AutoS sleep), which we install by hand or by app Shortcuts, etc. The amount of information, in addition to being many, has gone an important command for prioritization.
How to edit data sources
Consider an example. By default, when we have sleep and sleep reminders are turned on, the app Clock It calculates our sleep hours based on when we stop using the device. At night it starts counting when we leave it in the evening and in the morning it stops counting when we pick it up. Now in my case, for example, I use AutoS sleep to track my sleep hours. In these cases, What information is relevant?Which is more important? This is what we can explain from the Health app. We will do so by following these steps:
- We open the app Health on our iPhone.
- We add a tab Check.
- In the search bar we present, in this case, to dream.
- Under the section Data we touch Sleep recovery in the results.
- Down we go Data sources and access.
- We're playing Edit top right.
- And down, below Data sources: We use the handles (≡) to order the most important applications.
In this simple way, the Health app will know, for example, that information is AutoS sleep puts the app first Clock and will do accordingly.
In addition, from this stage we can do it enable or disable applications so that all your data appears or disappears in the set. We will do it by touching a small blue check (✔︎) next to its name. This way, if, for example, we have an app we are testing without being sure of its accuracy, we can prevent it from sending inaccurate data to Health.
Certainly prioritizing different sources of the same metric data is very important when using multiple metrics. The process is also easy when you know how to do it.
