How to Share Spotify Playback to Speaker
If you want your friends to be able to send music to your speaker from their phones, Spotify has the option to launch what it calls a remote group session, in which anyone can send music to the speakers in which it plays. Just follow these steps:
- Open Spotify and play the music on a speaker.
- Tap the speaker icon at the bottom left of the playback screen.
- Click Remote Group Session.
- Invite the friends you want to participate.
Keep in mind that there are several requirements to be able to use this playback mode, and the first is to have a Spotify subscription to be able to access the application and choose the songs.
There is a limit of 7 users in the shared session, and you will need to invite these users via a link, which you can send to them by WhatsApp or any other application.
However, your friends will need to be connected to the same WiFi network as you in order to upload their songs. Additionally, on the playback screen, “Group session” will appear at any time.
