Usually, SMS delivery is reserved for our phones. The reason for this is that a device with a SIM card is needed, because SMS is sent to the service provider. Luckily for us Apple created it system "transfer" so we can use our iPad or Mac to send and receive this kind of message.
How to do the sending and receiving SMS
For both our iPad and our Mac, steps to make you receive and send SMS messages will be made from our iPhone. Before we begin we must make sure we use our Apple ID for iMessageThe steps for this are as follows:
- We open the app Justification on our iPhone.
- We're in Messages.
- We touch Send and receive.
- Stop Use my Apple iMessage ID.
- We touch Sign in to use my Apple ID for iMessage.
After the program is activated we will receive a notification warning us about changing all devices there we have configured the same Apple ID. After this step is already activated for sending SMS messages, these are the steps:
- We open the app Justification on our iPhone.
- We're in Messages.
- We touch SMS transmission.
- We activate the devices we want to receive and send SMS.
Keep in mind that only devices that we have logged in with our Apple ID will appear in this list. We may be asked to sign in, on our iPhone, code that may appear on the device that it works.
From now on, and whenever our iPhone is unlocked, we will receive all SMS messages on your iPhone or iPad. And send them? Just as we would with our iPhone, we type and press send, that's easy.
