Follow these steps to tune channels on your Samsung Smart TV
To set channels on a Samsung TV, we need access the TV settings menuand the process may vary a bit depending on the model, especially if it is an older TV. However, it is a simple process that we will only have to do occasionally.
The first thing we need to do is connect the Smart TV to the home antenna. After doing it correctly, we follow these steps:
- We access the TV settings menu. It is accessed by pressing the gear button on the remote control or from the main screen of the TV.
- Let’s move on to the “Emission” (the icon is shaped like an antenna)
- We continue Automatic adjustment and then about To start
- Finally, we select the antenna and wait for the tuning process to complete.
This is the process to perform automatic tuning, so the TV will proceed to tune all available channels and, once finished, it will show us the first available channel in the list of broadcasts.
However, Samsung smart TVs also allow set channels manually. To do this, we follow these steps:
To set the channels, we need to go to the “Broadcasting” section in the settings menu.
- We access the TV settings menu and go to the “Emission“
- We click on Expert settings then on Manual adjustment
- Next, we can choose whether we want to search between digital or analog channels. If we select the first option, the TV will show us all the available channels, or we can perform a manual search by entering the channel, frequency and bandwidth.
How to Sort Channels on a Samsung Smart TV
If after setting the channels you want to change their order, the process to do so is also very simple. We simply follow these steps:
- We go to the main menu of the Smart TV
- We continue List of channels
- Then we select Edit Channels
Then we can change the order of the strings, rename them and even remove channels from the available list. If you delete one, you can include it again by repeating the channel setting process on the TV.
