The steps we need to follow if we want to share a route in the app with other people are:
- Open Google Maps on your Android phone.
- Enter the route you want to take (departure and destination).
- Select the desired route (if the application offers you several options).
- Click on the three vertical dots at the top right of the screen.
- Tap Share Route.
- Choose how and to whom to send these instructions.
- Share this route.
These steps allow us to send a certain route to someone else, how to send it to a friend on whatsapp. This is done in the form of a link, which the other person can click in that chat, and then Google Maps will open directly, where they can see the route in question that we have already shared. If they wish, they can also follow it in the navigation and maps app.
