When we talk about keyboards for our iPad, both keyboards using Hardware, virtual keyboard, and keyboards with software, those appear on the screen, they have their advantages and disadvantages. When it comes to choosing between one or the other, our decision may depend on the event, but what if we had the best experience of both?
From hardware keyboard to single-touch software
Without a doubt, personal preferences and culture play a major role in that tasks we like to do with a virtual keyboard and without it. For example, especially if we don't have a keyboard with a trackpad, such as a Smart keyboard, scrolling text can be easy with a on-screen keyboard and two-finger gesture.
Another time when it is important to have a virtual keyboard is when we write in another language and another character. In this case, being able to access the on-screen keyboard is more than simple, it is a necessity.
Is it as simple as wiping the iPad from the keyboard? However, even more so. It's as simple as that press and hold the small triangular arrow from the bottom right screen when it has a virtual keyboard connected. With this access the keyboard on the screen is fully presented. When we have written a phrase or word that requires a virtual keyboard, we simply tap the button in the bottom right corner of the screen to minimize the keyboard.
Useful, right? The next time we have to switch between multiple keyboards continuously, either because we perform multiple tasks simultaneously or because we use other languages other than the virtual keyboard, we can do so without physically removing the iPad itself from its environment.
