Over the years, iOS has accumulated so many nooks and crannies that it’s impossible to know all of its secrets. One of the most useful is the one used for take vertical screenshot of webpage on iPhone in PDF form. Some might already know this because it’s there every time you take a screenshot in Safari. But for others, of course, it went completely on tiptoe.
How to take a vertical screenshot of a website in PDF on the iPhone
Four years ago, when Apple launched iOS 11, iPhone and iPad screenshots were significantly improved. Although the button combination remained (lock and volume up for the iPhone X which debuted that year), forever changed what could be done with these captures. The company has created a suite of editing, cropping, sharing, and annotation tools.
There are days, @ Sesynho1 It reminded me of that great Safari trick: taking a vertical screenshot of a website with the iPhone.
I share it again because it’s a nice thing 👍🏻 pic.twitter.com/YVYUjodsVy

For those for whom this has gone unnoticed, there is a very useful feature when taking a screenshot in Safari. And is here appears an option that allows us to choose between “Screen”, which is by default, and “Full page”. If we select the latter, the iPhone or iPad will create a capture that we can drag vertically.
Obviously, here we can use the cropping, editing and annotation tools. Underline, indicate and write down what you want to highlight before saving it as PDF in Files or sharing it. Because it works like any other normal capture. This is a good option for saving website content and viewing it later. With all the changes you need to make.
Many users will find this feature useful. Some they didn’t even know existed. And what is hidden in plain sight.
