Facebook is one of the most popular social networks in Europe today. It is common for follow the accounts of our profile in the social network, be it stories of celebrities, media or places or brands. Among the testimonials that we follow, some may be of particular interest to us and we would like to follow their publications closely.
There are some accounts you don’t want to miss out on, and the Facebook feed doesn’t stand out for being well organized. Fortunately, as is the case on Instagram, we can activate notifications when an account that we are particularly interested in posting something on the social network. Thus, we will not miss anything.
Enable notifications for certain accounts on Facebook
Facebook has configured notification accounts
The Facebook feed is not organized chronologically and it is common that we miss a post of an account that we follow. If there are any accounts that are of particular interest to us, we can activate notifications that will cause something to be posted there every time, we can know that immediately. This allows us not to miss anything from this account which uploads to the social network. The steps to do this are simple:
- Open Facebook on your phone.
- Access the account that interests you.
- Click the three ellipses icon on the right side of the screen, next to the account name.
- Tap Manage tracking settings.
- Enter Publications.
- Select Standard, to be notified when this account downloads a publication (maximum 5 times per day).
- If there are more accounts that interest you, repeat the process.
By having this option active, you will be notified a maximum of five times a day when that account you’re following downloads a post. This is what will allow you to be always up to date with the news on this page that interests you so much. If this account downloads more than five posts per day, you will not be notified every time, but with this option, you will miss as little as possible of this account’s activity.
Facebook account notifications
This is a good way to find out which pages you are interested in on the downloaded social network. If the notifications end up being heavy, you can cancel the process by following the same steps that we’ve shown, choosing between Featured or Off for notifications.
