Instagram is one of the most used applications in Europe. In recent months, the app has gained new functions, although it has also lost some. If you have an account in the app, you may be following a large number of accounts and not always seeing new posts that one of those accounts downloaded during the time you were not in the app.
Fortunately, Instagram has a method whereby we don’t miss any new posts from our favorite accounts. It is possible to activate notifications so that we know at all times when an account that we follow with particular interest uploads a photo or video.
How to turn your Instagram profile into a business account
If you want to switch from a normal account to a business account on Instagram, here are the steps to follow in the app on Android.
Enable notifications for certain accounts on Instagram
When we enter Instagram we don’t always see posts from all accounts that we continue, causing that there are times when we lose a photo that interested us. Social media feed is always one aspect that generates complaints from users, but luckily there is a way to not miss out on what the accounts that interest you most are putting online.
In the app we have the possibility to activate notifications for individual accounts, so that when they post something, we get a notification on the mobile. It’s a way to filter the content that interests us and to be always up to date. To enable these notifications, we need to follow these steps:
- Open Instagram on your phone.
- Access the account that interests you.
- Click on the bell icon.
- Select what you want to receive notifications about (posts, stories, live or IGTV).
- Activate these options.
- If there are other accounts that you want to receive notifications from, repeat the process.
By activating these notifications, when the said Instagram account downloads a publication on your profile, you will receive a notification on your phone. By simply clicking on this notification, you will have access to the post in question, which you can view. Thanks to this, you will never miss the news of said account on the social network.
If these notifications end up being annoying, you can always turn them off, following the same steps we took to turn them on. This will allow them to stop streaming on Android.
