One of the great novelties of the Apple Watch Ultra is the arrival of a third button. One, in international orange, with which you can perform actions quickly without having to touch the watch face. Actions that we configure from the Settings application and that offer us, among other things, to start a workout with a third-party application.
One button to quickly open any workout app
The versatility of the Apple Watch Ultra action button is more than clear. Now, what suits us is that more and more apps are updated to support to this new button. Some already do, so let’s review how to use them so that, without even touching the screen, we can interact with them. We do like this:
- We open the application Settings on our Apple Watch.
- We entered action button.
- we touch Stock.
- We select I train oh Dive.
- We took it back.
- we touch Application.
- We select the one that interests us.
- We go back.
- we touch first press.
- We choose if we want Open [App] oh Start a training session and, in the second case, what training do we want to start.
Clever. With this we will have configured our action button to quickly start any workout in any app
It’s expensive to be able to act on our clock without even having to look at it it’s very interesting. Starting a workout quickly is one of the possibilities, but the truth is that thanks to the Shortcuts app we can go much further.
