How to view the opening keynote for Apple’s WWDC 2021 event

WWDC, Apple’s developer event, is slated to take place like every year in June 2021. However, official dates have yet to be confirmed.

The event will announce the news of new Apple operating systems: iOS, macOS Big Sur or iPadOS, among others.

When does WWDC start?

We can be pretty sure that the opening speech will take place in June 2021.

Apple will be streaming the main presentation live for everyone to watch. Next, we will see the different ways to watch the program depending on your device.

How to view it on Mac

To view the WWDC presentation address on a Mac, you must be running Safari on MacOS Sierra 10.12 or later.

To see it, simply head to Apple’s events page. Although it looks like Apple will stream it directly to apple.com

It will also be available for viewing in the Apple Developer app and on the Apple Developer website.

Apple states that to fully enjoy the event, if you’re using an iPhone, iPad, or iPod, go to the link via Safari, with iOS 10 or later installed.

How to view the WWDC 2021 opening speech on Apple TV

Apple TV users will be able to attend the opening ceremony if they have a second generation or newer Apple TV or tvOS model. They can do this from the “Apple Events” app.
