Huawei has just presented a new simple tablet with professional aspirations. It is Huawei MatePad C5ea tablet with a 10.1-inch screen and a few other useful business features.
Technically, the Huawei MatePad C5e is a typical tablet with a years-old processor, but it includes data protection and various optimizations control the software installed on it and that it remains open, which is particularly useful in EMUI.

Huawei puts its tablets to work
Huawei has a new tablet to work with and there’s the occasional deja vu on it. Its strong point is not so much the hardware, but the software. From the hardware point of view, we have the reunion with an old acquaintance of the brand, the processor itself Kirin 710.
El-Kirin 710 it’s a 2017 processor mid-range that the company has included in countless models so far. It comes back in this tablet for business with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage which can be expanded with a memory card up to 512 GB.
Being a business tablet, the design is somewhat understated. In front we have 10.1-inch display with Full HD+ resolution, 60 Hz of all life and symmetrical frames on all sides. In one of them is the front camera, 2 megapixels.
Behind, a clean design except for a decorative strip and the main camera lens, which is 5 megapixels. The tablet has two stereo speakers and, being aimed at businesses, it is curious that it does not have a fingerprint reader for added security. The battery is 5,100mAh and supports 10W charging.
Launched with EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10, MatePad C5e includes some useful business features such as POGO connector for accessories, custom boot animation, APN settings to access company intranet, possibility of keeping certain applications permanently active and an exhaustive management of the applications and Web sites which can be used there. This, coupled with serial encryption of all data.

The Huawei MatePad C5e appears on Huawei’s global website, although it doesn’t yet have a price. Will be available in gray and a single 4+64GB version, although we don’t yet know in which markets.
