Today could be a big day for Huawei, which is expected to officially introduce its new top model, the Mate 50 Pro, very soon. In the meantime, the company has launched a new device in its Chinese store.

Stands out from cameras and battery
The Huawei Nova 10z stands out in some elements, and not so much in others. For example, at the design level, it is clear that Huawei has reused the chassis of the previous models of the Nova range, and we can find serious similarities with the Nova 8. Therefore, we cannot expect many surprises. in the design, except for a new very light green color.
Also, in the absence of official confirmation, it seems that some internal hardware components have not changed either, and this Nova 10z continues to use an 8-core processor which, most likely, will be the same Kirin 710A used in previous models, although we are waiting to hear if there are improvements in RAM memory.
The two aspects where this Nova 10z will really stand out are the cameras and the battery. Regarding the first, we have a configuration of three sensors on the back, controlled by a 64 Mpx camera accompanied by an 8 Mpx wide angle and a 2 Mpx macro. This, combined with the Huawei Image algorithms that have performed so well in more expensive mobiles, should make this Nova 10z an attractive alternative for photographers.
The battery, although “only” 4000 mAh, stands out for the 40W fast charge, which is not usually seen in this price range. As it has only been announced in China at the moment, the Nova 10z will use HarmonyOS 2.0, but it is possible that it will switch to MIUI with Android if it arrives in Europe, as has happened with other other models.
In China, the Huawei Nova 10z will have a starting price of 1,599 yuan, or only 230 dollars to change, so it may be an alternative to consider.
