Today we have many options to share files from our mobile to other devices, such as Quick Share, tools like Snapdrop, cloud storage platforms and even messaging applications. Huawei has just presented its own solution to transfer images from one mobile to another and it has nothing to do with what we have seen so far.
The company today announced the arrival of the new Huawei Mate 70 series and the Huawei Mate X6, two of the devices that will be compatible with the file transfer function we talked about. What surprised us most about this tool is how it works: It almost seems magical.
The feature will only be compatible with certain company devices
The company has published a video on its official Weibo profile which allows you to get an idea of how this new transfer system works. As we can see in the video, it is possible to send images from one mobile phone to another without needing to touch the screen.
To transfer an image we will have to hold out your hand in front of the mobile screen and make a fistas if we were going to pick something up with our hand. In this way the system will detect that we want to transfer the image that appears on the screen. Next, we will have to open our fist (as if we were dropping something) in front of the target device.
Thanks to the mobile camera, Huawei will allow us Transfer files between devices without complications. Of course, this is a feature limited to the Huawei Mate 70 series, Huawei Mate X6 and the Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 tablet. It may reach other company devices, but at the moment we have no information on this.
From Android Authority they clarify that the function we are talking about only allows image transfertherefore we will not be able to use it to transfer documents, videos or other types of files that we have stored on our mobile. However, its use can be interesting on more than one occasion when you want to quickly transfer an image to another device.
