Both HyperOS and MIUI have very comprehensive user interfaces, full of useful features and attractive designs. However, there is something that continues to cause inconvenience to users of many Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO phones: the presence of advertisements and commercials in some system applications.
Fortunately, it is possible to disable these ads, even if the process can be a bit tedious: It is necessary to disable an application and change some system settings, which will even make our mobile faster. Removing ads from the system is worth it, and Xiaomi is developing a way to make this much easier.
Say goodbye to advertising in HyperOS with the push of a button in the settings menu
It will soon be possible Disable all system ads in HyperOS with just the push of a button in the settings menu. This, according to the latest discovery by SmartPrix and leaker Yogesh Brar. The tech media outlet has published a GIF in which it shows the new option to disable all ads in the system, directly from the settings menu and without having to install an application or perform a series of complicated steps.
The feature was discovered in a development version of the HyperOS operating system installed on a Xiaomi 13 Pro.
The HyperOS settings menu will include the section in the future Ads in system appswhich, according to its description, when active, allows “the display of a small number of advertisements in system applications. These advertisements help us develop and improve our statements and services.” This menu allows you to activate and deactivate the option whenever you want, in addition to checking the applications in which these advertisements appear.
As we mentioned at the beginning of this article, currently to eliminate advertising on Xiaomi phones it is necessary to disable an application (called MSA) and even disable ads in each of the system applications, and in some cases it can be more complicated. With the inclusion of some kind of master switch to control advertising in HyperOSSaying goodbye to ads on Xiaomi smartphones will be easier than ever.
For now, it is not known when this function will arrive in the operating system; with luck, it could arrive with the new HyperOS 2.0 or with a later update, and it will undoubtedly be one of the most useful novelties for all mobile users with this operating system.
