This trick is great if you own an iPhone, one of those iOS tricks that very few users know about
He took almost 15 years of using an iPhoneso I know almost all the tips that can exist and it is quite difficult to find new or unknown ones. Many new tricks have arrived in iOS 18, but the one I'm going to tell you about today has been available for a while. Specifically, since Apple launched iOS 16 two years ago with its renewed lock screen.
One of the improvements made around this time was the ability to have a lock screen on the iPhone that changes the iPhone wallpaper randomly. In other words, we can select the photos we want or ask the iPhone to select them for usso that you change them from time to time.
And it is precisely by using this last function that we use random photos that the iPhone selects for uswhile this tip can become essential. A tip that my partner Fran Besora taught me and that I never stop using. Perfect for retrieving a memory that the iPhone shows you as wallpaper.
Quickly find your iPhone wallpaper
As I told you, when you put random photos as wallpaper, you can select the photos specifically or let iPhone choose them for you. You can choose between people, nature and cities, so that every wallpaper your iPhone displays is a surprise.
And sometimes you want to remember this surprise in photo form. That's to say, you want iPhone to show you the photo it uses as wallpaper in the Photos app to remember this moment, as well as other photos and videos you took before and after. And it turns out there's a trick to doing just that. This you must do:
- Press and hold the lock screen when the wallpaper is on.
- Tap Customize.
- Select Lock screen.
- Tap the icon with the three dots.
- Now tap Show Photo in Photo Library.
Did you know that you can easily access a photo you have in the background on your lock screen?
All you have to do is call up the editing menu, tap the three dots and then View Photo. pic.twitter.com/pmVDf1xuP7

In doing so, automatically The photo set as iPhone wallpaper in Photos app will open. This way you will be able to check many details such as the date and place where you took it, which iPhone you took it with and many other memories, since you will be able to move around the photo library to see d other photos and videos from this moment.
HAS someone like me who has a photo library with thousands of photos, this is an amazing tip I'm sure this helps more than one person like it helped me. I usually use random photos as my lock screen wallpaper and now I can quickly access them with just a few clicks.
