What’s less common is to see sloppy things like what this customer did: used wood screws for spacers between CPU and board. Said this way, it may even seem comical to those who understand the subject, but it could have gone very wrong.
Fortunately for everyone, using screws in this gap caused no more problems than a simple short circuit that prevented the computer from turning on. However, he could have ended up damaging a fundamental part of the equipment board or even causing it to catch fire due to a spark occurring when the components came into contact with the screw.

The specialist ended up removing these screws and reassembling all the components and, now, with a better result. Therefore, all they had to do was update the BIOS so that the processor they installed was compatible and everything booted fine.
