In iOS 18 we have a much more customizable Control Center that allows us to do things like this
In iOS 18 we have many interesting tricks that we can apply to make our iPhone unique. Customization in iOS 18 is greater than ever and allows us countless adjustments, including the one I did in the iPhone control center and which I recommend to everyone.
The iOS 18 Control Center has been completely renewed, both in terms of design and functionality. We now have many broken buttons to create a Control Center tailored to each user. The options are almost endless, but it’s a change that can save you a lot of time.
Replace the connections widget with individual buttons
The iPhone Control Center has long had a connections widget which is normally located in the upper left area. From here we have quick access to airplane mode, AirDrop and Wi-Fi. In addition, when we touch it we can access other connections such as mobile data, Bluetooth, personal hotspot, VPN and satellite connection.
But since we now have a lot more controls, I think it’s worth it. replace this widget from which we can only directly access 3 buttons with four buttons directly. You will have better secure access. Here’s how to do it:
- Swipe to iPhone Control Center from the upper right corner.
- In the icon at the top left, tap the “+”.
- Below, tap Add button.
- Adds Moco Airplane controls, mobile data, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
- Move them to their corresponding location and delete the Connections widget.
- Some buttons may be misplaced, so rearrange them as you wish.
With this small change you will save a lot of time throughout the day if you are a slab user and click on these connections often. Especially if you frequently turn Bluetooth or mobile data on and off. Remember that by holding down these buttons you can connect and disconnect from certain networks.
Yes indeed, By pressing the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth buttons, the only thing you do is disconnectdon’t d isable these connections completely. The only way to do this is from the device settings, whether you use the Connections widget or the dedicated Control Center buttons.
Something interesting that you should also know is that Apple has created a kind of panic button for the iOS 18 Control Center. If you see that everything is messy and you don’t like the result , enter. Settings > Control Center, you can reset the Control Center to show the buttons it originally had.
This is just one of the coolest tricks of iOS 18. The new operating system hides many secrets that most users are unaware of. This is one of them we have dozens of buttons available in iOS 18 Control Centereven apps can create their own. Something unthinkable before, since we only have around twenty different buttons.
