There are certain behaviors of our Samsung Galaxy that we take for granted, that is, knowing that they do it automatically we do not give it importance, but there may come a time when this automation fails. This could have happened to you with the time change, since it should happen on its own, but this time it didn’t work.
But it is not only with the time change that the clock on your smartphone can fail, because it may happen that does not mark the minutes correctlyand can be permanently early or late. When this happens, you can carry out several solutions to eliminate the problem and thus have the watch in perfect working order.
Automatic date and time setting
Maybe it’s this one wrong time zone cause your cell phone to display the time and date incorrectly, especially when the time changes.
To adjust the time zone of your Samsung Galaxy, follow these steps:
- Open the app Settings on your phone.
- Go to General administration > Date and time.
- Enable buttons Automatic time zone, Time zone based on location Yes Automatic date and time.
Date and time manually
If for some reason the phone cannot set the time automatically, you must do it manually.
- Open it Settings in your Android.
- go to General administration > Date and time
- Disable it Automatic date and time.
- Tap on options Set the date Yes Set the time to manually correct the date and time.
- Click on Select time zone and manually choose the appropriate time zone.
Restart Samsung Galaxy
If the above does not solve the problem, a solution that is usually quite effective is to restart the phone, as the entire operating system will be reloaded.
The way to do it is Press and hold the volume down key and power key until four options appear on the screen, among which you will have Rebootwhere you need to click.
Factory reset
There would only be one option left, but it is the most radical, because it erases everything you have on your phone.
To do this, you must do the following:
- Go to Settings of the device.
- Then enter General administration.
- Then click on Restore.
- Scroll down and click Reset all data.
- You will see everything that is going to be deleted and at the bottom tap Restore.
In the end, whether with the simplest or most radical option, you should recover the correct time and date on your Samsung Galaxy.
